For Isamare

It’s time to dye

September 28, 2010

from this flower

boil a fabric with soy milk (They say it help but it seem doesn’t)

Soak the flower in the water one night before boil them for an hour.

boil the fabric and here it comes.

keep the dyed fabric in a plastic bag and let it be in the fridge for a day or two.

In this time, it doesn’t work! The color faded after washed and even bleached till almost white after dry.  T  , T

A long plan to dye

August 1, 2010

I’ve been collecting Asian pigeonwings (ดอกอัญชัญ), with help from my mom and my aunt. This plant is easy to find in an abandon plot. I’ll need some more flowers to start the dying process. First, pick the flower, then dry it in the sun and ready to turn things into this pale blue!
